Míg egy átlagos évben 115-120 ezren vizsgáznak, 2020-ban csupán 86 ezren próbálkoztak nyelvvizsga-bizonyítvány megszerzésével Magyarországon – derül ki az Oktatási Hivatal adataiból, amelyeket a Világgazdaság ismertetett. A 86 ezer nyelvvizsgázó közül 59 ezren kaptak bizonyítványt, amely 69%-os arány és meghaladja a 2019-es sikerességi mutatót, amikor 124 ezer próbálkozóból 82 ezren vizsgáztak eredményesen (66%).
